Omega is an engaging and educational resource designed to support science teachers in delivering evidence-based education to Year 9 and 10 students on vaccination against preventable infectious diseases. It's a free resource available online containing Australian and NSW curriculum-aligned content covering 10 infectious disease topics.
The program’s goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their health now and into adulthood. Each topic is supported by comprehensive resources, including lesson plans, student activities, and multimedia materials, making it easy for teachers to integrate it into their classroom.
