Themed ‘Revitalise and Reimagine: Fresh Perspectives on Stage 6 Science’ the day will include workshops for all the senior sciences - Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Environmental Science, Investigating Science and Science Extension - covering how to set up courses, assessment schedules, getting back to basics and more. Finesse your expertise running experiments; gain valuable tools, ideas and insights to help your students successfully complete the course; and network with fellow Stage 6 Science Teachers.

Dr. Madhura Manohar, Accelerator Scientist at ANSTO: The persistence of PFAS ("forever chemicals") in the body and environment, current research, regulations, and detection methods. How ANSTO’s particle accelerators aid in reducing PFAS use in consumer products.

KEYNOTE
Dr. Mahi Paquette, Executive Environmental Manager at Seabin Foundation: Ocean health, plastic pollution's impact on the environment and human health, and the need for behaviour change. She will also cover Seabin tech, the Ocean Health Lab, and education initiatives including free online courses, lesson plans and litter prevention campaigns.
